In 1933, Diepenbeek made his debut for the Netherlands national team in a match against Austria. He played a total of four matches for the Netherlands, including two appearances at the 1934 World Cup in Italy.
Ajax Dominance and Championships
Diepenbeek spent eight and a half seasons at Ajax, playing over 200 matches. He was part of the Ajax team that won four Dutch championships in the 1930s: 1930-31, 1931-32, 1933-34, and 1936-37.
