Over the next 18 years, Facchetti became synonymous with Inter Milan, captaining the team to four Serie A titles (1963, 1965, 1966, and 1971), two European Cups (1964 and 1965), and two Intercontinental Cups (1964 and 1965). He also played a pivotal role in Inter Milan's triumph in the 1971–72 European Cup final against Ajax, providing an assist for Roberto Boninsegna's winning goal.

International Career
