Achille Emana, a Cameroonian attacking midfielder, began his professional career in 1998 with the Cameroonian club Union Douala. In 2000, he joined Getafe, then playing in Spain's second-tier league.

Return to Cameroon and Russian Adventure

Homecoming and First Russian Club

In 2003, Emana returned to Cameroon, playing for local teams. His first Russian club was Dynamo Bryansk, where he became a central striker. With Dynamo, he reached the semi-finals of the 2006/07 Russian Cup.

Tere Grozny and Injury Setback

In the summer of 2007, Emana moved to Terek Grozny, another first-division team. However, that season, he failed to score a single goal. Despite finishing second in the first division in 2007, Terek earned promotion to the Premier League. Emana played in the Premier League with Terek from 2008 to 2009. In late 2008, Emana encountered groin problems, forcing him to miss several games. He underwent successful surgery in mid-December. In 2009, he made only two appearances for Terek over four months before leaving the club.

Lower Novgorod and Far East Stints

On July 24, 2009, Emana joined Nizhny Novgorod, where he spent the remainder of the 2009 season. From February 9, 2010, he played for Luch-Energiya. In 2011, he moved to the Latvian club Jurmala.
