Jessie Betts, an American singer and actress, hails from Los Angeles. In 2005, she triumphed in the televised singing competition "Road to Stardom" with host Missy Elliott. Subsequently, in 2011, she was chosen as a BET Music Matters artist, an initiative that "spotlights BET's next superstars."

Musical Career

Betts' song "Get Up" graced the soundtrack of the 2006 film "Big Momma's House." The following year, she released her debut album, "You Can't Resist."
