Jim Thompson, an entrepreneur and the founder of Crown Worldwide, was born in 1939 in the United States. From a young age, he had a passion for military technology and aeronavigation. He graduated from San Jose State University and later moved to Asia.

In 1965, Jim Thompson founded Crown Worldwide in Hong Kong. The company specializes in various transportation services, logistics, storage of valuable items, and freight forwarding. They provide transportation services within the country as well as internationally.
Notable Transportations
In 2005, Crown Worldwide successfully transported the priceless artwork, the Mona Lisa. The company is trusted by many major museums worldwide to transport their valuable artworks. In April 2007, they organized the transportation of a giant panda, which was also completed successfully.
