Biography of Joe Lieberman
Joe Lieberman, a prominent American politician, is widely known outside the United States for his participation in the 2000 presidential elections. He was born on February 24, 1942, in Stamford, Connecticut. In 1967, he graduated from the Yale Law School. Three years later, Lieberman was elected to the Connecticut State Senate, where he served for nearly 10 years. From 1982 to 1988, he worked as the Attorney General of Connecticut. In 1988, Joe Lieberman was first elected to the United States Senate. In 1992, he was one of the first influential Democrats to support the presidential aspirations of Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton. Throughout Clinton's presidency, they remained friends.
