John Robert Magaro is an American actor born on February 16, 1983, in Akron, Ohio. His passion for acting began in his high school years, and he went on to pursue a theater degree at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Early Career and Breakthrough

Magaro's first film appearance was in the television series "Rescue 911" as a teenager. Despite his early experience, it took several years of playing minor roles in films such as "The Brave One" and "The Killing of a High School President" before he gained significant recognition.

Collaborations with David Chase

A turning point in Magaro's career came when he collaborated with renowned director David Chase. Chase cast him in his feature film debut, "Not Fade Away" (2012), alongside James Gandolfini. This role earned Magaro the HFF Spotlight Award.
