Mark Denis Lizotte, known by his stage name Johnny Diesel, was born on May 19, 1966, in Fall River, Massachusetts, USA. In 1971, his family relocated to Perth, Australia. From an early age, Diesel displayed a passion for music, opting for an electric guitar instead of traditional instruments favored by his siblings.

Education and Musical Beginnings

Diesel faced difficulties in school due to his interest in music. At age 15, he realized his potential in music and embarked on collaborations with local bands and musicians. He played various genres, including melodic rock and hardcore punk, working with notable artists like Boyd Wilson and Gary Dunn.

Formation of "Johnny Diesel & the Injectors"
