John Avery Abraham is an American film and television actor, born on October 29, 1977, in New York, USA.
Early Life and Career
According to John, he never thought about becoming a professional actor. He got his first role as Steven in the crime drama "Kids" in 1995 by chance. At the age of 16, John was working in a club where the film was being shot, and he tried to get a job as an assistant director. But instead of what he wanted, he was offered to participate in an audition, after which he was approved for an episodic role.
After filming in "Kids," John started receiving calls from an agent for other projects. In the same year, 1995, John accepted an invitation to play the role of Sonny in the Oscar-winning drama "Dead Man Walking" directed by Tim Robbins. The main roles in the film were played by famous Hollywood actors Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon.
