Early Career

Jonas Knudsen was born in Esbjerg, Denmark, on September 25, 1992. He began his football career at the local club Esbjerg fB, joining their youth system at a young age.

Professional Debut and Esbjerg Career

On March 28, 2010, Knudsen made his professional debut for Esbjerg in a Danish Superliga match against Randers FC. He established himself as a regular in the team's defense and scored his first goal for the club on May 16, 2013, in a win over Odense BK.

In the 2012/13 season, Knudsen played a crucial role in Esbjerg's Danish Cup triumph. They defeated Randers in a penalty shootout to lift the trophy. His impressive performances at club level earned him international recognition.

International Debut

Knudsen debuted for the Danish national team on May 28, 2014, in a friendly match against Sweden. Later that year, he represented the Denmark U21 team at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in the Czech Republic.

Ipswich Town
