Early Life and Career
Jordan Lukaku is a Belgian footballer of Congolese descent. He currently plays as a left-back for Lazio and the Belgian national team. Lukaku was born in Antwerp, Belgium, to Congolese parents. His father, Roger Lukaku, was a professional footballer who played for the Zaire national team. His older brother, Romelu Lukaku, is also a professional footballer.
Lukaku began his football career at a young age, playing for various youth clubs. In 2008, he joined the youth academy of Anderlecht. In 2011, he was promoted to the first team. On March 21, 2012, he made his debut for Anderlecht in a match against Zulte-Waregem.
Club Career
During his time with Anderlecht, Lukaku helped the team win two Belgian League titles and one Belgian Super Cup. In the summer of 2013, he went on loan to Oostende. He made his debut for Oostende on August 31, 2013, against Lokeren. In the summer of 2014, Oostende purchased Lukaku's transfer rights. On August 1, 2015, he scored his first goal for Oostende in a match against Westerlo.
In the summer of 2016, Lukaku transferred to Lazio in Italy for a fee of €3 million. He made his debut for Lazio in the Italian Serie A on August 21, 2016, against Atalanta. On December 23, 2017, he scored his first goal for Lazio in a match against Crotone.
International Career
Lukaku made his debut for the Belgian national team on October 10, 2015, in a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match against Andorra. He was included in Belgium's extended squad for the final tournament of UEFA Euro 2016 in France. He played in one match during the tournament, against Hungary.
