Early Life and Training

Banovac's musical journey began in New York City, where she studied under Ann Saint John, a disciple of Leopold Godowsky. She further honed her skills with Carl Friedberg and attended the Vienna Academy of Music for a year. Her formal training culminated under the guidance of the renowned György Sándor.

International Acclaim and China Tours

Banovac's concert career took her to stages worldwide, with a particular affinity for China. She embarked on eleven extensive tours of the country from 1983 onward, sharing her mastery through masterclasses at various conservatories.
