2019-Present: Hold It Together

Saxe continued his momentum in 2019 with singles "Same Room" and "Women Who Look Like You." He collaborated with his then-girlfriend, Julia Michaels, on "If the World Was Ending," which garnered a Grammy nomination in 2021. In February 2020, he released his second EP, "Hold It Together," which reached number 53 on the Canadian Albums Chart.

Global Impact and Collaboration

Saxe's influence extended beyond his own music. In April 2020, he and Julia Michaels re-recorded "If the World Was Ending" with various artists, including Sam Smith, H.E.R., and Niall Horan. The proceeds benefited Médecins Sans Frontières, where one of Saxe's friends worked.

Advocacy and Impact

In 2020, Saxe's song "Same Room" was shortlisted for the SOCAN Songwriting Prize. He also participated in the all-star recording of Serena Ryder's single "What I Won't Do," a charity single for Kids Help Phone's Feel Out Loud youth mental health campaign. In April 2023, Saxe released "I Don't Miss You," co-written with John Mayer.
