Julian Brandt is a German footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for the club "Bayer 04" and the German national team.
Early Career
Julian began his career at the modest club "Borgfeld". In 2009, he moved to the youth team of "Oberneuland" and two years later transferred to "Wolfsburg".
Professional Career
In 2014, the talented midfielder became a player for "Bayer 04". He made his debut in the top German division on February 15, 2014, in a match against "Schalke 04". Three days later, he made his debut in the Champions League against "Paris Saint-Germain". On April 4, 2014, Julian scored his first goal in the German championships in a match against "Hamburg".
International Career
Julian has played for various German youth national teams and is currently a member of the U-19 national team. He won the silver medal in the Fritz Walter Medal. In 2014, he was part of the U-19 national team that won the UEFA European Youth Championship. He made his debut for the senior national team in 2016, being included in the squad for the European Championship. In 2017, he became the champion of the Confederations Cup.
Olympic Career
Brandt is also a member of the German Olympic team, with which he won a silver medal in the 2016 Olympics.
