Early Life and Education

Machulski developed a passion for cinema at an early age. In pursuit of his dreams, he enrolled in the Director's Department at the renowned Lodz Film School, where he graduated in 1978.

Early Career

After completing his education, Machulski quickly made a name for himself in the Polish film industry. He began his career as an actor and appeared in several notable films, such as "The Most Important Day in Life," "Personnel," and "Konstanta."

Directorial Success

Machulski's true talent, however, lay in directing. He gained widespread recognition for his comedic detective films in a retro style, such as "Va-Bank," "Va-Bank II," and "Deja Vu." These films showcased his unique storytelling abilities, humor, and ability to create captivating narratives.
