Early Life and Education
Kaiyrzhan Aliyev was born on May 5, 1937, in the village of Koshelevka, Krasnoyarsk District, Astrakhan Oblast, Russian SFSR. He was the sixteenth child of Izteleu and Dina Aliyev. Aliyev hailed from the Aday clan of the Junior Juz.
In 1956, after graduating with honors from Ganyushkinskaya Secondary School, Aliyev was admitted without entrance exams to the Astrakhan Higher Technical Institute of Fish Industry and Management (ASTRybVtuz). He successfully graduated in 1961, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Career in the Fishing Industry
After graduating, Aliyev began his career in 1961 as a mechanic at the Chertombai (Shortabai) Fishing Factory. He was subsequently appointed Chief Mechanic.
In 1967, Aliyev became the Director of the Chertombai Fishing Factory. This was one of the largest fish production facilities in the Caspian region, incorporating the Budenny Fish Factory in Astrakhan, three floating marine fish-freezing bases, and eight major fish stations.
Leadership of Guryyevrybprom
In 1972, Aliyev was appointed Chief Engineer and subsequently the Head of the Territorial-Production Administration of the Guryyev Fish Industry ("Guryyevrybprom"). This administration encompassed:

- Guryyev, Bauting, and Chkalov (Astrakhan) Shipyards- Mangyshlakrybholodflot Administration
- Chertombai and Budenny (Astrakhan) Fish Factories
- Tengiz Ship Repair and Technical Station
- Motor Transport Depot
- Marine Fishery Technical College
- Machine and Tractor Station Office
- Building and Maintenance Department
- 18 Fishing Collectives
Retirement and Legacy
In 1986, due to health concerns, Aliyev retired from Guryyevrybprom. However, he continued to contribute to the fishing industry.
From 1986 to 1992, he served as Chairman of the Amageldy Fishing Collective. From 1992 to 1999, he was the General Director of the Atyraurybprom Production Association (formerly Guryyevrybprom).
Aliyev retired from active employment in 1999. Throughout his career, he prioritized the well-being of his employees, ensuring access to essential services, infrastructure, and job opportunities.

Personal LifeAliyev was married to Zanzhiya Ualievna. Together, they had five children: Kabylyan, Aelita, Zaurezh, Sabirzhan, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
