Biography of Kaj-Erik Eriksen
Kaj-Erik Eriksen, born on February 15, 1979, is a Canadian actor. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and began performing at the age of six. After several background roles and a series of minor speaking roles, he landed his first major job in the independent film "Quarantine". The film had such a low budget that the crew had to sneak into the filming location, an abandoned warehouse infested with rats, through broken windows. Despite the challenges, Kaj-Erik enjoyed the experience and solidified his desire to become an actor.

Early Career
Shortly after "Quarantine", Kaj-Erik played one of his two episodic roles in his favorite childhood series, "MacGyver". In 1991, after working on various TV movies and making guest appearances on different TV shows, Kaj landed the role of David Scali, the son of Michael Chiklis' character, in the long-running series "The Commish". It was through this show that Eriksen established himself in the American television industry, earning nominations for the "Young Star" award from the Hollywood Reporter and the "Young Film Actor" award, as well as winning two YTV "Young Talent" awards.

Continued Success
During his four and a half years on "The Commish", Eriksen also had the opportunity to work on other projects, including a remake of "Captains Courageous" with Robert Urich. He was also offered the lead role in the 1992 film "Mighty Ducks", but his busy schedule on "The Commish" forced him to decline. When the series ended, Kaj-Erik, who was only eighteen at the time, moved to Los Angeles to continue his acting career.

Recent Career
In 1999, Kaj-Erik returned to Vancouver for the filming of two seasons of the project "Beggars and Choosers". Although the series did not last long, it received positive reviews and developed a small cult following. When the show was not renewed for a third season, Kaj-Erik returned to Los Angeles. Eventually, he landed significant roles in the series "Boston Public" and "The 4400". Currently, his career takes him back and forth between Vancouver and Los Angeles, depending on the availability of interesting projects.
