Kakhaber Aladashvili: A Journeyman Defender
Early Career and Club FootballKakhaber Aladashvili, a Georgian footballer, began his journey at the age of 12. He honed his skills at Tbilisi's 35th School and later joined the "Olimp" Academy under the guidance of coach Gigla Imnadze. In 1999, he made his club debut with "Gorda" from Rustavi, where he played 95 matches and scored 6 goals. Subsequent stints followed at Tbilisi's "Spartak" and "Sioni" from Bolnisi.
Tbilisi Dynamo and European Debut
In 2004, Aladashvili joined the renowned Georgian club "Dynamo" Tbilisi. He became a pivotal member, contributing to their Georgian league title victory. During his tenure, he made 8 appearances in European competitions, scoring a memorable goal against Wisła Kraków.
Move to Dynamo Kyiv and Loan Spells
In March 2006, Aladashvili signed a five-year contract with Dynamo Kyiv. However, he primarily featured in the reserve teams and was later loaned out to FC Dnipro in 2006. He made 5 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League for Dnipro before returning to Dynamo Kyiv briefly.
Loaned to Zakarpattia and Kharkiv
In 2007, Aladashvili was again sent on loan, this time to FC Zakarpattia. He established himself as a regular starter, playing 10 league matches and 1 cup match. The following year, he was loaned to FC Kharkiv, where he featured in 8 Premier League games.
Success with Anzhi Makhachkala
In 2009, Aladashvili signed for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala. He played a key role in their promotion to the Russian Premier League in 2009.
Return to Georgia and International Career
After leaving Anzhi, Aladashvili returned to Georgia and joined FC Zestafoni. He represented the Georgian national under-21 team and made 7 appearances for the senior team, debuting in 2005 against Kazakhstan.
