Early Career

Armen Zakaryan, an Armenian football defender, began his professional career with the Yerevan-based club Araбкиr. He made his debut on March 8, 1997, in a match against Yerevan, playing the entire game.

Pjunik Years

After a season with Araбкиr, Zakaryan transferred to Pjunik. His most significant achievement with the club was reaching the final of the Armenian Cup in 2005, where they lost to Mika. Zakaryan holds the club record for most appearances, having played for several seasons before departing the club.

Gандzaсар

Since 2007, Zakaryan has been playing for Gандзасар in Kapan. In October 2010, he marked his 300th appearance in official tournaments. However, in the summer transfer window, Zakaryan was released by the club, making him a free agent.

Ararat and Beyond

Midway through the 2011 season, Zakaryan signed with Yerevan-based Ararat. He played the rest of the season with the club, but his contract was not renewed at its conclusion.
