Karl Lagerfeld, a German fashion designer, artist, and photographer, is considered one of the key figures in contemporary fashion design. Throughout his long career, Lagerfeld has worked with several prominent fashion houses worldwide, including Chanel, Fendi, and Tiziani, in addition to leading his own fashion house. He was born in Hamburg, Germany, and the exact date of his birth remains unknown. According to available documents, Lagerfeld was born in 1933. Lagerfeld's father was a successful entrepreneur who specialized in selling condensed milk, which protected Karl from the horrors of World War II. After completing his education in Paris, Lagerfeld began his career as a designer, initially working for Pierre Balmain. He then moved on to Jean Patou, where he worked intensively, consistently producing two collections per year. Lagerfeld's debut collection, presented in July 1958, was met with criticism, but he eventually gained recognition in the fashion industry.
