Early Life and Career
Ken André Olimb was born and raised in Oslo, Norway, the younger brother of fellow hockey player Mathis Olimb. He honed his skills in the youth system of Manglerud Star.
Debut in Norway
Olimb made his debut in the Norwegian championship with Vålerenga in the 2006/07 season. In 2008, he joined Frisk Asker on a two-year contract.
Transition to Sweden
In 2010, Olimb made the move to Sweden, signing with Leksand. He spent two seasons with the club before suiting up for Karlskoga in the second Swedish league during the 2012/13 season.
Stint in Germany
The following year, Olimb crossed the border into Germany to join Düsseldorfer EG. Over three seasons with the club, he recorded an impressive 44 goals and 87 assists in 159 games.
Return to Sweden and International Play
In 2016, Olimb returned to Sweden, signing with Linköping which also signed his brother, Mathis. He has represented Norway internationally since 2010, including at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
