Early Life and Ajax Career
Kevin Bobson, a Dutch footballer, began his footballing journey with Amsterdam club SV Bijlmer. His exceptional skills caught the attention of Ajax, where he excelled in the youth academy. In 1998, he was promoted to the first team.
First-Team Debut
Bobson's debut for Ajax came on May 16, 1999, in a 2-0 victory over RBC Waalwijk. He came on as a substitute in the 85th minute for Danny Blind. Despite the limited playing time, Bobson made several appearances in the following seasons, totaling seven matches without scoring.
Moving to NAC Breda
In 2001, Bobson moved to NAC Breda, a club in the Dutch Eredivisie. He played as a midfielder, making 34 appearances and scoring 4 goals in the 2001/2002 season. However, his time at NAC was cut short when he joined Spanish club Espanyol in 2003/2004.
Stint at Espanyol
Bobson's stay in Spain was brief, as he left after just nine league appearances and one goal. He returned to the Netherlands in July 2004, signing for Willem II.
Success with Willem II
At Willem II, Bobson enjoyed a productive spell. He scored 9 goals in 33 matches during his first season, helping the club qualify for the UEFA Cup. Bobson made 112 appearances for Willem II, contributing 15 goals in total.
Loans and Transfer to Red Bull Salzburg
In 2007/2008, Bobson was loaned to NEC, where he scored 2 goals in 14 matches. After his loan spell, he joined Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg in 2008 but left the club in January 2009, marking the end of his professional football career.
