Belarusian Ice Hockey Defender
Maksim Susha is a Belarusian ice hockey player who plays as a defenseman for Dinamo Minsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Early Career
Susha began his career in 2007 in the Belarusian Extraleague with Yunior Minsk. In 2008, he joined the Shattuck-Saint Mary's School, a private boarding school in the United States.
NHL and KHL Drafts
In 2009, Susha was selected 183rd overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL Entry Draft. In the same year, he was also chosen by Dinamo Minsk with the 18th overall pick in the KHL Draft.
International Career
Susha has represented Belarus at the international level since 2008, playing for the junior team at the 2008 World Junior Championships. He made his senior team debut in 2010 and has competed in the 2010 World Championships.
