Biography of Konstantin Antoch
Konstantin Antoch is a Moldovan and Soviet statesman, a lieutenant general of the police. He graduated from the 60th anniversary of the VLKSM Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR with a degree in political science.
Career in the Internal Affairs Agencies
From 1983 to 1984, Antoch served as the first deputy chief of the Beltsy City Police Department. In 1984, he was transferred to the position of chief of the Comrat District Police Department. In 1987, he became the deputy chief of one of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the MSSR (Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic), and in 1989, he was appointed as the deputy minister of internal affairs of the MSSR - Republic of Moldova.
Involvement in the Transnistrian Conflict
In 1992, Antoch was appointed as the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and actively participated in the Transnistrian conflict.
Later Career
In 1996, he was appointed as the Director General of the Department of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations. Antoch also served as a member of the Interdepartmental Commission on State Secrets Protection. However, in 1997, he was removed from the position of Minister of Internal Affairs but retained his position in the government. In January 1997, Antoch started working at the State Chancellery, and from 1999 to 2001, he served as the head of the Department of Emergency Situations.
Current Occupation
Currently, Konstantin Antoch works at the Ministry of Information Development of the Republic of Moldova.
