Chris Humphries is an American professional basketball player. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to former football player William Humphries and his wife Debra Humphries. His father was African-American and his mother was white.
Early Career
Humphries initially excelled in swimming, setting multiple records in various competitions as a ten-year-old. He held the national record for the 50 and 100-meter freestyle among boys under 10 years old. However, at the age of 12, he decided to switch to basketball.
Achievements in Basketball
Humphries quickly found success in basketball as well. In 2002, he played a crucial role in leading his high school team to win the state championship for the first time in 49 years.
