Biography of Kyle Beckerman

Kyle Beckerman was born on April 23, 1982, in Crofton, Maryland. His father, Paul Beckerman, was Jewish, and his mother, Margaret, grew up in a Christian family. From a young age, Kyle had a passion for football and showed promise as a teenager, easily outplaying his school friends and teammates.

Professional Career

In 1999, Kyle began training at the IMG Soccer Academy and became a participant in the Project-40, which later became known as Generation Adidas. Through Project-40, Kyle was able to join Major League Soccer and got the opportunity to train with some of the most famous American players at that time. Soon after signing a contract with the league, he was invited to play for the Miami Fusion. Although he spent his first two seasons on the bench, the club provided him with specialized training to improve his skills.

In 2002, Kyle attracted the attention of the Colorado Rapids, and after a few months, he joined the team. He spent five seasons with the Rapids, appearing in over 140 matches and scoring 10 goals.
