Lara Stone, a Dutch model, was born on December 20, 1983, in a small village near Berlin, Germany. Her mother was Dutch, and her father was English. Lara spent her childhood in the town of Mierlo, Netherlands.

Early Career
In 1999, at the age of 15, Lara participated in the Elite Model Look competition. Although she did not win, she was offered a contract with a prestigious agency. After leaving high school, Lara moved to Paris to pursue her modeling career.
