Lara Trump was born Lara Yunaska on October 12, 1982, in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Robert Luke Yunaska and Linda Ann Sykes, and has a younger brother named Kyle Robert Yunaska. Lara attended Emsley A. Laney High School before pursuing higher education. She studied at North Carolina State University and the French Culinary Institute in New York City.
Pre-Political Career
Before entering the political realm, Lara worked as a script coordinator and producer for the television news magazine "Inside Edition" from 2012 to 2016.
Donald Trump's Presidential Campaign
During Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, Lara led the "Trump-Pence Women's Empowerment Tour" and served as a liaison at Trump Tower for Brad Parscale's company, CloudCommerce.
Post-Election Roles
Following the election of her father-in-law as president, Lara Trump became an online producer and fundraiser for President Trump. She also appeared on camera as a spokesperson for "Real News Update," a news program from Trump Productions. She was also hired as a senior adviser to Brad Parscale for Trump's 2020 re-election campaign.
