Lastlings: Australian Electronic Pop Duo

Lastlings, an electronic pop duo from Queensland's Gold Coast, was founded by siblings Amy and Josh Dowdle. Amy, a high school student, initiated the project while Josh pursued biomedical science and modeling. Josh had classical music training from the age of eight.

Musical Ascent

The duo's breakout song, "Deja Vu," gained significant airplay on Australia's national radio station, triple j. This success led to performances at major festivals such as Coachella, Spilled Milk, Splendor in the Grass, and The Plot. They also supported Two Door Cinema Club on their Australian tour.

Touring Extravaganza

In 2017, Lastlings embarked on a regional tour with Rüfüs Du Sol and joined them on their 2019 national tour. The duo even accompanied Rüfüs Du Sol on their US tour.

Triple J Mix Up Extravaganza

Lastlings further cemented their status by performing a hour-long DJ set on triple j's Mix Up program.
