Biography of Lewis and Owen Harrison
Lewis and Owen Harrison are 23-year-old identical twin bodybuilders, personal trainers, and fitness models who strive to maintain the same physique. They follow the same diet, perform the same exercises, and even consume the same amount of alcohol. This allows them to have identical measurements: shoulder circumference - 45 cm, chest circumference - 110 cm, waist circumference - 80 cm, and weight - 83 kg.
Early Life
Lewis and Owen were inseparable from an early age. Until the age of 16, they both played football under contract with the Bolton Wanderers club. They attended the same school, hung out with the same group of friends, and eventually both developed a love for the gym. Initially, they did not have the intention of becoming bodybuilders; they simply wanted to stay in shape for the football field.
At 17, Owen joined the Marine Corps, and Lewis joined him a year later. However, Lewis only lasted for 26 weeks, while Owen served for three years. At the age of 20, the twins returned to their parents' home in Kendall. Owen worked on a construction site, and Lewis worked as a graphic designer. They were not satisfied with their lives until December 2010, when they decided to try their hand at bodybuilding together.
Bodybuilding Journey
The Harrison twins set themselves the ambitious goal of building muscles and achieving the same physique. They developed a plan for diet and physical exercises and strictly adhered to it. Lewis says, "We lived together, trained together, ate the same food at the same time." The twins went to the supermarket together and prepared meals for the next day after work. Lewis and Owen trained six times a week.
In their pursuit of looking identical, they even started weighing their portions. Usually, on Sundays, they allowed themselves to deviate from their diet and indulge in their favorite foods such as pizza and chocolate, but they still ate in equal amounts. However, there were times when one of the brothers would become slightly bigger than the other. In those cases, they would measure each other's bodies to ensure their muscles matched.
Their parents, Bill and Janet, always supported Lewis and Owen's idea of looking identical, but they never fully understood their sons' lifestyle. However, they did manage to get their mother interested in fitness. The twins developed a diet and exercise plan for her, which helped her lose 19 kg in six months.
Nowadays, the brothers live in Leeds but not together. Owen moved in with his girlfriend, 30-year-old Catherine Birkby. However, they maintain a close connection with each other. Lewis explains, "We talk on the phone and exchange messages to know what training routine to follow next week. We also plan all our meals in advance."
Catherine, a hairdresser and model from Leeds, fully supports Lewis and Owen's efforts to always stay in shape and look stunning. She says, "I support everything Lewis and Owen do. It's a great opportunity for them as twins... The only thing that worried me was when they received messages with flirtation from their female fans online." Over time, Owen's girlfriend has become accustomed to the increased attention her partner receives from other women and can now laugh about it with him.
As fitness models, both brothers take great pleasure in posing for the camera and showcasing their almost identical physiques, which they have worked hard to achieve.
