Immigration to Israel
In 1980, Shemtov embarked on a new chapter in her life by immigrating to Israel with her family. Her determination to make a meaningful impact on her adopted country became evident from the outset.
Professional and Civic Engagements
From 1990 to 2003, Shemtov held a position at the housing company Amidar. Her commitment to public service was further demonstrated through her role as Deputy Mayor of Nazareth Illit from 2003 to 2006.

Shemtov's foray into politics began with her entry into the Yisrael Beiteinu party in 1999.
