Biography of Lydia Taran

Lydia Taran is a Ukrainian television presenter and participant of the third season of the TV show "Tanstsiyu dlya tebe" (Dancing for You). Despite having no prior dance experience, Lydia decided to challenge herself and participate in the show.

Lydia began her career in the media industry working at radio stations "Dovira" and "Promin." However, her entry into television happened by chance. When the new channel "Noviy Kanal" was just opening, Lydia was offered to come for auditions. It was on that day that she saw a camera for the first time. From 1997 to 2004, Lydia worked as a host of sports news on "Noviy Kanal," where she gained experience in both sports and political marathons.

In February 2005, Lydia became a host on "5 Kanal" for the program "Chas novin" (Hour of News). Since 2009, she has been working on the channel "1+1" as a host of the programs "Zavtrak s 1+1" (Breakfast with 1+1) and "Ya lyublyu Ukrainu" (I Love Ukraine).

Apart from her career in television, Lydia has also participated in various reality shows. In December 2011, she took part in the show "Krasota po-ukrainski" (Beauty in Ukrainian). On March 20, 2012, Lydia appeared in the new romantic project on the channel "1+1" called "I pryyde kokhannya" (And Love Will Come), a documentary series.

Lydia is not married but has a daughter named Vasilina, whom she had with her former partner Andriy Domanskyi. They were in a civil partnership for five years.

Despite her initial lack of dance knowledge, Lydia Taran has proven herself as a versatile and talented television presenter, constantly taking on new challenges in her career.
