Views on Anti-Doping Regulations
In 2009, Vonn criticized the new anti-doping rules introduced by WADA, which required athletes to provide their whereabouts to the agency for at least one hour every day. She suggested sarcastically that WADA should implant GPS trackers under their skin to make it easier for them. Vonn expressed her understanding of the purpose behind these regulations but found them burdensome.
