The Early Years

The Italian science fiction writer, born in Rome, taught mathematics before embarking on his literary career. In 1960, he debuted in literature with a series of short stories published in the magazine "Oltre il cielo" under the pseudonym N. L. Janda.

The Emergence of a Sci-Fi Writer

In 1962, he published the first book on science fiction in Italy. It was not until 1968 that he decided to return to his hometown in order to fully dedicate himself to writing.

The Literary Breakthrough

In 1977, his first novel, "Quando le radici" (When the Roots), marked a significant moment in his career. The novel stood out for its exploration of complex themes and its immersive world-building.
