Bo Bridges, also known as Lloyd Bridges III, is an American actor born in Los Angeles, California. He was given the nickname "Bo" by his parents in honor of the character Ashley Wilkes from "Gone with the Wind" as they were reading the book at the time of his birth. Bo has two younger brothers, Garrett and Jeff, and a younger sister, Lucinda. Despite the tragic loss of Garrett due to sudden infant death syndrome, Bo maintained a warm relationship with his remaining siblings. He became a supportive figure in Jeff Bridges' life, who went on to become a successful actor himself.
Early Life and Career
Bo Bridges developed a passion for basketball during his time at the University of California and even considered a professional sports career. He continued pursuing his dreams after transferring to the University of Hawaii. In the television season of 1962-1963, Bo and Jeff made appearances in their father's show, "The Lloyd Bridges Show," on CBS.
In 1989, Bo and his father starred together in the film "The Fabulous Baker Boys," which is considered one of Lloyd Bridges' senior's major achievements.
