Regional Elections and Early Political Aspirations
In 2012, she ventured into regional politics by running for office in the Sicilian regional elections as a member of the Five Star Movement. Despite receiving a respectable 851 votes, she ultimately fell short of securing a victory.
Election to the Italian Parliament
The politician's political career took a pivotal turn in 2013 when she was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies, representing the First Electoral District of Sicily for the Five Star Movement. Her election marked a new chapter in her dedication to serving the Italian people.
