Michael Kennedy was born on February 27, 1958, in the United States. He was the nephew of former US President John F. Kennedy. Coming from a well-known and respected family, Michael's father held the position of senator for the state of Massachusetts. Education and Career
In 1980, Michael Kennedy obtained his undergraduate degree from Harvard College, followed by his graduation from the University of Virginia Law School in 1984. After completing his education, Michael became the head of the non-profit organization called "Citizens Energy Corporation," founded by his brother Joseph. In March 1981, Michael Kennedy married Victoria Gifford, the daughter of Frank Gifford. Michael made an effort to spend quality time with his children, showering them with expensive gifts and toys. The family resided in Cohasset, Massachusetts, and Michael aspired for his sons to attend Milton Academy after completing their education in the local public school.
Scandal and Tragic Death
In 1997, newspapers started reporting on a scandal involving Michael Kennedy. He was accused of sexually assaulting the former nanny of his children. The investigation revealed that the abuse started when the girl was only 14 years old. Upon learning the disturbing details, Michael's wife filed for divorce and moved to another city with their children. On December 31, 1997, Michael Kennedy tragically passed away. His death came as a shock to many, as he was at the peak of his career and fame.
