Country: Great Britain

Biography of Luella Bartley
Luella Bartley, a British designer, is perhaps the most beloved designer among British youth. She holds the prestigious title of "Best Designer" according to the British Fashion Awards. Previously, she wrote for the British magazine Vogue, and then surprised many by unexpectedly releasing her debut collection of shirts in the style of "Lady Di" with starched collars. To be honest, few believed in her success. But not Luella herself. A graduate of St. Martins College, she held her first show in her small apartment in London, where friends and supporters gathered. Luella presented each friend with a shirt of her own design. Of course, this gift also had advertising goals. As the famous saying goes, the beginning is the hardest part.

Success and Recognition
"In 2002, everyone went crazy for itbags. And I invited Gisele Bundchen, who walked the runway with my 'Gisele' bag. We almost went bankrupt, spending a fortune on that model! But then it took off, with celebrity clients and countless orders," recalls Luella Bartley, who has since become famous. Her label, "Luella," was born in 1999. Bartley's boutiques are located in London and Hong Kong. Inviting any model, even the highest-paid one, for advertising is no longer a problem. "The heroine of each of my collections is a fictional Luella who is constantly changing outfits. Now she is ready to embrace any fashion trend," says the designer.

Varied Designs and Collaborations
Luella has already played the role of a punk coquette in a leather shirt splattered with graffiti paint, an aristocrat in a stylish military-style jacket and mini skirt, a young disheveled London hooligan in platform shoes and woolen stockings, and has amazed with her romantic image of a true lady in silk. She has had contracts with companies such as "Mulberry" and "Vans" and has the love of the entire British and international press, from glamour to independent. She has been nominated for the title of "Designer of the Year" at the British Fashion Awards, as well as numerous awards for her famous "Luella" bags and much more.

Return to Roots and Personal Life
Once starting in the fashion industry as a journalist and fashion expert, Luella Bartley decided to, as they say, return to her roots and enthusiastically works on the release of her own magazine. In the first issue of the glossy publication "Luella," one can find a black and white photoshoot of British model Jordan Dunn, interviews with British fashion icons Kate Moss and Stella McCartney. A few years ago, Bartley settled in Cornwall with her friend, renowned photographer David Sims. The couple lives in a large country house a few miles from the sea, where David enjoys his favorite pastime of surfing. Their three children, Kip, Stevie, and Ned, are raised in a rural spirit and spend a lot of time outdoors.
