Luis Iberico da Silva: A Dynamic Forward from Peru
Early CareerLuis Iberico da Silva (born December 12, 1994) is a Peruvian professional footballer of Brazilian descent who currently plays as a forward for Argentinos Juniors and the Peru national team.
His professional career began at Peruvian club Sporting Cristal, where he made his debut in the Primera División in 2013. In 2014, he scored his first goal and claimed the league title with Sporting Cristal.
European Journey
In early 2016, da Silva joined PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, initially playing for the reserve team in the Eerstedivisie. He moved on to play for Brazilian club Grêmio in 2017, making his Serie A debut and scoring his first goal in the same year.
Rise to Stardom
In 2018, da Silva was loaned to Argentinos Juniors in Argentina. He made his debut in the Primera División that year and has since become a key player for the club.
International Career
Da Silva has represented Peru at various youth levels, participating in the South American Youth Championships in 2013 and 2015. He made his senior debut in 2016 and scored his first international goal in a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago.
Da Silva played in Peru's squad for the 2016 Copa América but only featured in one match against Haiti.
