Georgios Havas
Playing CareerClub
Georgios Havas made his professional debut for Olympiakos in 1987. After three appearances, he was loaned to Apollon Kalamarias for the remainder of the season. He then moved to AO Trikala, where he had a successful campaign, playing 28 games and scoring twice. Havas subsequently joined Panserraikos for three years, making a total of 82 appearances and netting eight goals. His performances earned him a transfer to PAOK in 1992, where he spent the next four and a half seasons. While at PAOK, he made his only appearance for the Greece national team in a friendly against Cyprus on September 2, 1992.
International
Havas's sole international cap came in a friendly against Cyprus on September 2, 1992, at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium. He replaced Stratos Apostolakis as a second-half substitute.
Managerial Career
Havas began his managerial career in 2009 with Agrotikos Asteras. His most notable achievement occurred in December 2010 with PAOK, whom he led to the 32nd round of the UEFA Europa League after an away victory over Dinamo Zagreb.
