Early Life and FamilyMamie Gummer was born on August 3, 1983, to renowned actress Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, and Connecticut with her older brother, Henry, and sisters, Grace and Louisa.
Acting Career
Gummer began her acting career with small roles in films such as "Evening" (2007) and "The Devil Wears Prada". Her scenes were ultimately cut from the latter film. In 2012, she landed her first starring role in the television series "Emily Owens, M.D."
