Marco Calderoni

Marco Calderoni, an Italian football defender, began his career at Piacenza Calcio. He made his debut for the first team on May 25, 2008, against Cesena.
During the 2008/2009 season, Calderoni played in 21 of Piacenza's 42 Serie B games, scoring his first goal for the club.
In February 2010, he moved to Palermo, which purchased half of his playing rights. Calderoni made his debut for the Rosanero on March 27 against Bologna, playing 76 minutes before being substituted for Ondrej Celustka. Palermo won the match 3-1.
International Career
Calderoni began his international career with Italy's under-18 team, debuting on December 12, 2006, in a 1-0 loss to France.
From 2009, he represented the under-20 national team. He participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, where Italy reached the quarter-finals. Calderoni played in all five matches of the tournament.
