Early Life and Education
Maia Tskitishvili was born on 11 June 1990. She graduated from the International Black Sea University (IBSU) in Tbilisi with a degree in marketing.
Career in Tourism
Tskitishvili began her career in the tourism industry in 2010 as Deputy Head of Human Resources at Adjara Group, a hospitality company. From 2012 to 2014, she served as Deputy Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA). She then held the position of Regional Manager for the airline Flydubai from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, she was appointed Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
Political Career
Following the 2020 parliamentary elections, Tskitishvili was elected a member of the Parliament of Georgia on the party list of the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party. She is currently a member of the party's political council and serves on the parliamentary committee on economic policy.
Current Position
Tskitishvili is the acting Member of Parliament of Georgia for the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party, representing a constituency in Tbilisi. She continues to play an active role in the country's political and economic development.
