Early Life and Education

Marina Burinskaya was born and raised in Frunze, Kyrgyzstan. In 1982, she moved to Daugavpils, Latvia, to pursue her education. After graduating from college, she worked in a factory for several years.

Business Ventures

In the early 1990s, Burinskaya started her own business, opening a laundry service. In 1997, she established the popular Fitness Center, one of the most renowned gymnasiums in Daugavpils today. Currently, Burinskaya is the founder of a company that operates a wide range of businesses, including a market, parking lots, cafes, arcades, shops, photo labs, a hair salon, and gymnasiums.

Fitness Journey

Burinskaya began her fitness journey in 1984 with aerobics, a popular trend at the time. She combined aerobics with gym workouts before eventually focusing solely on weight training. She made her competitive debut in 1997, winning the first Latvian Fitness Championship.

Competition Success

Burinskaya's impressive competition record includes the following achievements:

- 1998: 12th place, WFF World Championship

- 1999: 1st place, NABBA European Championship; 8th place, Universe

- 2000: 1st place, WFF European Championship; 1st place, World Championship (individual and pairs); 1st place, Universe

- 2001: 1st place, WFF World Championship
