Early Career in Russia
In 2006, Jakubko moved to Russia and began his Russian career with Saturn Ramenskoye. He made his debut in March 2006 against Zenit and scored his first goal in April 2006 against Shinnik.
Moves to Khimki and Moskva
In 2008, Jakubko joined Khimki, where he played for half a season before moving to Moskva in January 2009. With Moskva's dissolution in 2010, he returned to Saturn as a free agent.
Time at Dynamo Moscow
In August 2010, Jakubko signed a three-year contract with Dynamo Moscow. However, the contract was terminated after only six months, with Jakubko receiving compensation for the early termination.
Return to Russia with Amkar Perm
In February 2012, Jakubko returned to Russia with Amkar Perm. He scored his first goal for Amkar against Krasnodar, which was his first goal in 30 matches in the Premier League. In a match against Rubin Kazan, Jakubko fractured his jaw, but the foul was not penalized. Amkar threatened to lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Committee.
Transfer to Ruzomberok and Retirement
In June 2015, Jakubko joined Slovak club Ruzomberok as a free agent until the end of the 2015/16 season. He retired from playing professionally in 2016.
