Samir Abbasov is an Azerbaijani football player who has had a successful career both at the club and international level.

Club Career

Abbasov began his club career in the Azerbaijan Premier League, representing teams such as "Inter" (Baku), "Neftchi" (Baku), and "Shahdag". In 2005, he joined "Karvan" (Yevlakh) but returned to "Karabakh" after just one year.

International Career

Abbasov made his debut for the Azerbaijani national team in 2004. By the end of 2011, he had played in 44 matches for the national team.

Achievements

Throughout his career, Abbasov has achieved several notable accomplishments. He was a two-time champion of Azerbaijan, winning the title with "Neftchi" (Baku) in 2003/04 and "Inter" (Baku) in 2007/08. He also won the Azerbaijan Cup in 2003/04, scoring the winning goal in the final.
