Early Career and Domestic SuccessMarko Lešković began his professional football career at the Croatian club Varteks, where he remained until 2005. During this period, he spent the 1997/98 season on loan at NK Varaždin.
In 2005, Lešković moved to Poland to play for Zagłębie Lubin. During his one season with the club, he helped them secure a bronze medal in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
International Football and Croatian Success
In 2006, Lešković returned to Croatia to join Slaven Belupo. Two years later, he was invited by then-coach Zoran Vulić to sign with FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostok in Russia. He spent several years with the club, making over 100 appearances.
In 2012, after Luch-Energiya's relegation to the Russian Football National League, Lešković left the club due to restrictions on foreign players. He subsequently returned to Croatia to play for NK Zelina.
International Experience and Career Twilight
From 2013 to 2014, Lešković defended the colors of FK Marsch in Austria. He then signed a contract with NK Zavrč in Slovenia.
Lešković had a successful run in European competitions, appearing in 15 matches and scoring 3 goals in the UEFA Cup.
