Biography of Matt Savage
Matt Savage, a musical prodigy and savant, possesses perfect pitch. However, Matt is a savant, which means he is a person with Savant Syndrome, or in other words, he is an autistic person gifted in music. Savants are quite rare, and the most famous one is Kim Peek, who was portrayed in the renowned movie "Rain Man". Matthew "Matt" Savage was born in 1992 in Sudbury, Massachusetts. His parents are Diane and Lawrence "Larry" Savage.

Early Life and Musical Talent
As a child, Matt developed rapidly - he started walking early and by the age of one and a half, he not only spoke fluently but also learned how to read. Doctors diagnosed him with developmental disorder and recognized him as autistic at the age of three. Interestingly, in his early childhood, Matt could not tolerate any noise, including music. However, his attitude towards music changed later, and by the age of six, he could easily read sheet music. Within a year, he mastered the piano and soon discovered jazz, to which he fully devoted himself. In 1999, at the age of 7, the talented musician was admitted to the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Musical Career and Achievements
In terms of regular education, both Matt and his younger sister Rebecca were homeschooled. At some point, it became clear that in addition to hyperlexia, which is the ability to read beyond their age level, Matt Savage also possessed perfect pitch. Despite his musical talents, he remained autistic. At a young age, Matt is already an experienced musician and composer. He has released several albums as a solo performer and as part of the Matt Savage Trio. Besides his solo work, the young genius has had the opportunity to perform with other musicians. Matt Savage has received numerous awards from various musical competitions, including a particularly prestigious one - a personalized Bösendorfer piano, which he was awarded in 2003. Remarkably, he became the only child to receive such an honor in the 175-year history of the company.
International Recognition and Education
By now, Matt has toured many countries around the world and has performed in front of heads of state. Naturally, Matt's talent has also caught the attention of television producers - he has been a guest on programs such as "Late Show with David Letterman", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "The Today Show", and "All Things Considered". In 2009, Matt was admitted to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and in 2010, his ninth album was released.
