Early Career and Olympic DebutClaes Johansson Andersson was a Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler who competed at the highest level during the early 20th century. In 1908, he graced the Olympic stage in London, representing his country in the lightweight division (up to 73.0 kg). Andersson displayed exceptional skills, winning four out of the five bouts he contested. However, victory eluded him in the final, where he ultimately settled for the silver medal.
Second Olympic Appearance
Four years later, Andersson returned to the Olympic arena at the 1912 Games in Stockholm, this time competing in the middleweight category (up to 75.0 kg).
