Early Career
Maurizio Domizzi is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Venezia. He began his career in the youth system of Lazio. In 1998, he was loaned to Livorno, where he spent two seasons.
Transfer to Milan and Subsequent Loans
In 2001, Domizzi joined Milan, but he never made an appearance for the club. The "Rossoneri" loaned him to Modena and then sold him to Sampdoria in 2002. After two seasons with Sampdoria, Domizzi was loaned out once again, playing for Modena, Brescia, and Ascoli.
Stability at Napoli
Domizzi's career took a turn in 2006 when he joined Napoli. In two seasons with the club, he played 55 matches and showcased his goalscoring ability for a defender, netting 15 goals.
Udinese Acquisition
In 2008, Domizzi signed for Udinese, initially on a co-ownership basis with Napoli. In June 2009, Udine acquired full ownership of the player.
International Career
Domizzi's international career was limited, with only a few appearances for Italy's youth and junior teams.
